Dr. Schwartz grew up playing sports and performing musicals in the greater Philadelphia area. Choosing the academic path, he attended the University of Maryland, College Park, and received a B.S. Degree in animal science. Dr. Schwartz went to work at the National Institute of Health as an aquaculture specialist, then on to earning his Veterinary Medicine Doctoris (VMD) degree from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Here he received special training in ultrasound and cardiology. His special interests in veterinary medicine include internal medicine, cardiology, and behavior. He values creating lifelong client-doctor relationships and is a proud advocate for all pets. Dr. Schwartz is excited to be providing exceptional health care with fear free techniques and a kind heart to the pets at Vero Beach Veterinary Hospital.
