Dr. Nazareth grew up in New Jersey and received his veterinary degree from the University of Liverpool in England (home of the Beatles). With 25 years experience, he has practiced in Australia, New Zealand, and England before coming to the United States where he has practiced in New England and Florida. He brings extensive knowledge and experience to Vero Beach Veterinary Hospital in both the medical and surgical fields with a mastery of many soft tissue and orthopedic surgical procedures. Dr. Nazareth has performed over 5,000 spay and neuter surgeries and earned a certificate from the ASPCA in efficient spay/neuter. In addition, other surgeries performed competently include but are not limited to pyometra, C-section, foreign body (gastrotomy/enterotomy), cystotomy, and splenectomy. He is accredited with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and in 2008, he became fully certified in veterinary acupuncture and enjoys incorporating holistic care and herbal medicine regularly into his practice. Most recently, he has studied and begun practicing holistic cancer therapy and intravenous infusion therapy. Dr. Nazareth is kind, compassionate, and highly dedicated to always practicing the highest level of care for each individual pet. When Dr. Nazareth is not taking care of patients, he enjoys traveling, time on the water and other outdoor pursuits with his trusty dog, Desi, by his side.
