Heather was born in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She started her career in the Veterinary field in 2005 after moving to Tennessee. She moved back to Florida in 2010 with a passion for what she does, so she has continued to work in the field ever since. Heather also has a passion for theatre and almost graduation with a major in theatre and a minor in education, but just before finishing, she changed her focus and ended up graduating with her Bachelor degree in Business Administration in December 2016. Upon graduating from UCF in Orlando with a B.S. in Business, Jill began working at East Orlando Animal Hospital where she took her own pets. It was there her passion for animal health began. She pursued another degree at SPJC and received her CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician) degree. Jill began working with Dr. Kattis Stengard in 2006 doing house calls and has been a great asset to Vero Beach Veterinary Hospital ever since.
We have been pleased to have Misty as a part of our team since March of 2018. Misty has been a veterinary technician for 15 years and could not see herself in any other career as she loves every aspect of working with animals. Misty enjoys spending her free time with her two teenage children and their two dogs.
Sonia has been working as a veterinary technician for the last 10 years and been a great addition to our team since June 2018. She enjoys working with a wide array of animals. Areas of special interests include dental prophylaxis and surgery. Outside of work she is a full- time mother to her daughter, in which they both share the same love of all animals, big or small!
Victoria has been with us since January 2020. Her always sweet, positive, and happy personality has been a pleasant addition to our team.
NaKayla has been a part of our team since March of 2020, and has been in the Veterinary field since 2015. She has done it all, starting as a kennel assistant, then receptionist, and now a technician, and she wouldn't trade it for anything! She loves animals, especially her beautiful pitbull King, and enjoys meeting clients' fur babies too! Outside of doing what she loves with us, she is also a full time student and a full time mommy to her baby boy.
